I am a Council member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and Treasurer of the European Association of Science Editors (EASE). I was previously an open access journals professional. I was an editor with BioMed Central ('03-'09) and the Public Library of Science ('10-'16), and I was Head of Research Integrity at Hindawi ('16-'20) then Head of Editorial Policy and Ethics ('20-'22).
